Registration is completed online. Choose your preferred exam date, submit the registration form and follow the instructions sent to you by email.

2. Check your email
After submitting the form, you will receive an automatic email with information about available places, the exam fee and payment methods.
3. Pay the exam fee
Payment must be made within 3 days of registration, but no later than the registration deadline for the selected exam session.
Online payment via Tpay is available using BLIK, payment card, instant bank transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
4. Receive confirmation
After the full payment has been received and registration has been completed, Smart Vision School will send you confirmation of your participation together with the necessary organisational information.
What Is the TELC B1/B2 Exam and Who Is It For?
TELC Polish B1/B2 is an international Polish language examination that allows candidates to officially demonstrate their level of Polish language proficiency.
Dual-level B1/B2 exam
TELC Polish B1/B2 is a dual-level examination. Candidates take one exam, and the final level is determined on the basis of their examination results.
Depending on the result, the candidate may receive a B1 or B2 certificate.
What can a TELC certificate be used for?
- TELC B2 — for admission to Polish universities and as proof of Polish language proficiency at B2 level;
- TELC B1 — for EU long-term resident status as one of the accepted documents confirming the required level of Polish language proficiency;
- as official proof of Polish language proficiency in other situations where a TELC certificate is accepted.
How Does the TELC B1/B2 Exam Work?
The TELC Polish B1/B2 exam consists of a written and an oral part. Candidates take one exam, and the final result determines whether a B1 or B2 certificate is awarded.
Written examination
Listening (25 minutes)
This section tests your understanding of recorded announcements, everyday conversations, interviews and different opinions. Candidates answer multiple-choice and true/false questions.
Reading (40 minutes)
This section includes emails, posts and replies from online forums, as well as official informational texts. Candidates answer multiple-choice and true/false questions.
Language Elements (20 minutes)
Candidates select the appropriate expressions in dialogues and emails. The tasks are presented in a multiple-choice format.
Writing (30 minutes)
Candidates write an email on one of two given topics. The task assesses the ability to communicate information clearly and correctly in written Polish.
Oral examination
Speaking (20 minutes of preparation + 16 minutes of examination)
The oral examination is conducted in pairs. It includes a conversation about experiences and opinions, a presentation on a given topic, a discussion and answers to the examiners’ questions.

Recognition of the TELC B1/B2 Certificate

When is a state Polish language examination required?
In some procedures, a state certificate of proficiency in Polish as a foreign language may be specifically required.
This applies, among others, to:
- applications for Polish citizenship;
- certain procedures related to post-secondary schools (szkoły policealne);
- recognition of professional qualifications of doctors from third countries;
- recognition of professional qualifications of nurses from third countries.
In such cases, always check the current requirements of the relevant authority or institution before registering for an exam.
